I know most of the instruments that can be obtained, and even a lot of the obscure products and guitars out there, because I thought it would be valuable to know about the tools involved in making music. 

So I learned these things in a way that really only shows that I need to get a life... 

Let's get one thing straight--guitars really are just planks of wood.
